Adelphi is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide nutrition services in Howard County, Texas. The ideal candidate will assess nutritional needs, support care planning, provide education, and collaborate with care teams to ensure compliance and patient health.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the State of Texas.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with physicians, staff, patients, and families.
- Ability to comply with required immunizations, background screening, and onboarding requirements.
- Successful completion of required drug screening and fingerprinting.
- Ability to complete all required facility and state-mandated training.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nutrition services to patients in an inpatient setting.
- Conduct nutritional assessments, consultations, education, and follow-up as assigned.
- Analyze patient health status, dietary needs, goals, restrictions, and monitor nutritional progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to support individualized care plans.
- Communicate nutrition-related recommendations to patients, families, and clinical staff.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Provide nutrition guidance and information to food service leadership as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including accrediting and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain adherence to professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards.
