Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled non-CDL driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate various routes effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, ensuring safe transport of goods.
• Load and unload items using equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while maintaining accurate records of deliveries made.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Skills:

• Proven experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Experience with moving goods in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
