Job Description:
Lead the design, deployment, and presentation of modern, scalable infrastructure solutions across multi-vendor environments.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Architect and present solutions for clients across infrastructure domains
Deploy solutions manually or programmatically in lab and production
Troubleshoot complex networking and systems issues
Collaborate in both pre-sales and delivery roles
Research and implement technologies from vendors like Cisco, VMware, Palo Alto, AWS, and Azure
Occasionally travel (2–3 trips per year, US-based)
Requirements:
Must-Haves:
1 expert-level certification (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE, VCDX, RHCA) – must involve a hands-on lab exam
Deep networking expertise: switching, routing, OSI model (Layers 1–3), and TCP/IP stack
Strong foundation in network protocols, NAT, subnetting, VLANs, spanning-tree, etc.
Experience in infrastructure technologies beyond networking: cloud, storage, compute
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Willingness and ability to continuously learn and adapt
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with systems integrators or service providers
Multiple expert-level certifications
Familiarity with scripting, automation (Ansible, Terraform), and cloud migration
Exposure to diverse platforms (e.g., ThousandEyes, Hyper-V, KVM, Meraki, DNAC)
Previous pre-sales or solutions architecture experience
