Commercial Refrigeration Technician - Food Manufacturing - Base Salary to 130k/year - Union, NJ
- Our client, a leading food manufacturer in Union, NJ, is hiring a Lead Refrigeration Technician to join their team as they bring refrigeration maintenance in-house for the first time. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with strong long-term growth potential
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and ensure system reliability
- Work with production to meet facility cooling and storage needs
- Ensure compliance with food safety and refrigeration standards
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in industrial or commercial refrigeration (not just HVAC)
- Experience with cold storage, ammonia systems, or blast/tunnel freezers
- Strong understanding of food facility safety and compliance
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 100k - 130k/year range
