Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Discuss with the service advisors or customers to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, and to discuss work to be performed.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, and provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure efficient operations.
Skills :
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with automotive repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose complex mechanical issues.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate repairs and maintenance.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.

- Pay $25 - $40 based off experience.
